Question/Issue
We want to continue development and testing in a separate staging environment in addition to the production (live) environment. How can we set this up?
Short Description
A DoveRunner Content Security service account includes a default site (Site ID), and you can add additional sites (Site IDs) as needed. By using the integration information for each added site (Site ID, site key, etc.), you can apply Content Security independently to different environments (live, staging) or services.
The following plans are applied depending on the site type.
- Trial plan: A free plan provided when you create an account for evaluation purposes. The available period and usage are limited.
- Commercial plan: A paid plan with no limits on duration and usage. Charges are based on actual usage, and depending on the selected plan, some features (such as client SDK availability) may be restricted.
- Dev plan: A free plan that can be used without a time limit for development and testing purposes. It can only be created for accounts that are using a Commercial plan, and usage limits apply similarly to the Trial plan (e.g., up to 1,000 DRM license issuances per month).
How to Use
If you have a commercial account
If your account is using a Commercial plan, the [ADD SITE] button is enabled at the top of the Content Security console.
If you apply to add a site using this feature, an additional Dev plan site will be added to your account after review by our business team.
If you are planning to switch to a commercial plan
Depending on your preference, you can either convert your current site to a Commercial plan site and create a new Dev plan site, or convert your current site to a Dev plan site and create a new Commercial plan site. Please submit a Help Center ticket or contact us through the Contact Us page. We will review your request and assist you accordingly.
